Jarell Quansah and Reece James missed training as England’s right-back problems mounted ahead of their World Cup last-32 match against DR Congo on Wednesday, according to Yahoo Sports. Quansah twisted an ankle in England’s 2-0 win over Panama on Saturday, while James has not resumed training since a hamstring injury suffered in the 0-0 draw with Ghana. Djed Spence replaced Quansah against Panama and could be used again, with Thomas Tuchel also able to turn to Ezri Konsa; Newcastle’s Tino Livramento withdrew from the squad earlier with a calf issue and was replaced by Trevoh Chalobah.
