A joint venture between Los Angeles real estate firms Kennedy Wilson and Jamison plans a $1.7 billion effort to build or convert properties into about 4,000 affordable apartments over the next five years, according to Bloomberg.
The project is backed by incentives from Los Angeles, in one of the nation’s least affordable cities.
