Dutch prosecutors have asked a Rotterdam court to declare crypto platform Knaken bankrupt in the public interest after the company went offline in early June, leaving customers unable to access their funds.
According to NS3.AI, prosecutors estimate about 30,000 customers have been affected since the platform became unavailable.
FIOD investigators searched premises on Monday and seized devices and company assets as part of the investigation. Authorities said no arrests have been made so far.
