Cleveland Fed President Beth M. Hammack said the U.S. labor market is close to full employment and that the growth outlook is favorable. According to Odaily, Hammack said inflation remains too high and the Federal Reserve may need to consider raising interest rates.

Hammack said she will attend Federal Reserve meetings with an open mind and will not prejudge the outcome of those meetings.
