Iran was expected to receive $3 billion in frozen assets before the end of this weekend, sources cited by Al Arabiya TV said.
According to Jin10, the report said Iranian and U.S. delegations were set to hold indirect talks in Qatar tomorrow with mediators participating.
The sources said the indirect negotiations would focus on the Strait of Hormuz and broader regional stability.
The report added that the two delegations were expected to separately meet the Qatari prime minister and Pakistani mediators in Doha today.
