BreakTheBank Buys $145,000 Polymarket Position on France Not Winning vs. Sweden

A Polymarket account known as BreakTheBank bought a $145,000 position on “France cannot win” in the prediction event for the “2026 World Cup Round of 16: France vs. Sweden,” with an average entry price of $0.22 and 618,679.4 shares, showing an unrealized profit of $9,280.

According to Odaily, the account has a total profit of nearly $4.47 million and is linked to the address 0xf0318c32136c2db7fec88b84869aee6a1106c80c.

The France vs. Sweden knockout match is scheduled for 05:00 (UTC+8) on July 1.

The report said France’s squad is valued at more than 1.3 billion euros and includes players such as Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele. It added that France scored six goals and conceded one in two group-stage matches, with its attacking efficiency ranked among the top teams in the 32-team field.

Odaily also reported that Sweden has qualified for the World Cup finals 12 times and has finished third twice. It said Sweden’s current squad includes attackers Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak, and that the team has remained unbeaten for 12 months.

The report added that Sweden’s most recent loss was against France in the first half of 2025, and said Sweden does not have an obvious psychological disadvantage when facing France.
