The time between a software vulnerability being discovered and then exploited by malicious actors is shrinking, Tobias Adrian, financial counsellor and director of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund, said, according to Bloomberg.
Adrian said the trend poses a real threat to financial stability. He spoke with Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua on “The Pulse” on the sidelines of the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra.
