香港金融管理局公布5月份货币统计数字，港元贷款连续第三个月上升，月内港元贷款环比升0.3%，港元存款升1.2%。据明报报道，由于港元存款升幅大于港元贷款升幅，港元贷存比率由4月底的71.6%降至5月底的71%。
贷款与垫款总额环比升1.4%。
