SK Hynix is in talks with semiconductor equipment makers about supplying semiconductor inspection equipment needed for its Cheongju P&T7 plant. According to Odaily, the equipment companies are verbally coordinating how many units they can deliver next year.
The equipment industry expects the plant to order about 200 units, including HBM4 testers. Based on an estimated price of 1.5 billion to 2.0 billion won per unit, the total order value could reach up to 400 billion won.
