European Central Bank Governing Council member Olaf Sleijpen said the full extent of the inflation shock from the Iran war “remains to be seen” and that policymakers will respond as data come in, according to Bloomberg.
Sleijpen made the comments in an interview with Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua at the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra, Portugal.
