On-chain analyst Darkfost said asset managers have sold more than 100,000 BTC from spot Bitcoin ETFs this year amid sustained outflows.
According to NS3.AI, Darkfost said total sales since October of last year exceed 160,000 BTC, with outflows estimated at over $11 billion.
Darkfost attributed the figures to continued net redemptions from spot Bitcoin ETF products over the period.
