Inter striker Marcus Thuram has been ruled out of France’s World Cup Round of 32 match against Sweden, coach Didier Deschamps confirmed. The game kicks off in New Jersey on Tuesday at 22.00 UK time (23.00 CEST), according to Yahoo Sports.
France topped their group after beating Senegal 3-1, Iraq 3-0 and Norway 4-1. Deschamps said Thuram is dealing with a muscular injury.
