Oman does not support charging passage fees for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz, Foreign Minister Badr said. According to NS3.AI, Badr said Oman remains committed to safe, peaceful, and free navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
Badr added that Oman and Iran have reached consensus in ongoing dialogues that any future arrangements for the waterway must follow international law.
