The smallest and riskiest group of US stocks has outperformed by about 1,400 basis points in the first half of the year, but investor positioning has not reflected the rally, according to Bloomberg.
Despite the strong performance, investors have largely stayed away from small caps, leaving positioning inconsistent with the group’s gains.
