Data from stables.rip indicates that Tether and Circle have frozen approximately 3.7 billion stablecoins on the Ethereum and Tron networks over the past six years.
According to NS3.AI, the tracker shows about 2.8 billion tokens—around 75% of the total amount frozen—were frozen within the past two years.
Separately, CoinMarketCap data cited in the report says the two most popular stablecoins trade more than $40 trillion annually.
