Nearly 20 global analog and power semiconductor companies are set to begin a new round of price increases on July 1, following multiple tiered adjustments earlier this year.
According to Odaily, several manufacturers said their current orders are full and visibility on production capacity has improved.
Analysts said the main driver of the latest price hikes is cost pressure from rising wafer foundry and raw material prices, alongside a surge in demand for power chips linked to AI data center construction.
The analysis added that market share is expected to concentrate among leading chip companies with integrated device manufacturing capabilities across the full chain, strong upstream ties, and exposure to high-demand segments.
