Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed higher on Monday, June 29, with South Korea’s KOSPI recovering after falling as much as 3.4% earlier in the session.

According to NS3.AI, Japan’s Nikkei 225 ended up 0.15% at 69,468.11.

In South Korea, the KOSDAQ closed up about 8% after Samsung and SK announced investment plans.
