Germany’s foreign minister said she held a productive exchange with the United Arab Emirates’ deputy prime minister on future security arrangements in the Gulf region and risks posed by neighboring Iran. According to Jin10, the foreign minister said both sides agreed that freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz must not be compromised.
She added that recent attacks targeting Bahrain and Kuwait were unacceptable.
