ByteDance has no intention of cooperating with Baidu-backed AI chip unit Kunlunxin at present, a person close to the matter told Yicai on today.
According to ChainCatcher, the response follows earlier market talk that Kunlunxin was planning a Hong Kong listing, that Tencent had become a customer, and that ByteDance was considering adopting its AI chips.
The person close to the matter specifically denied that ByteDance currently plans to work with Kunlunxin.
