Luka Modric became the oldest player to register a World Cup assist at 40 years and 291 days as Croatia beat Ghana 2-1 on Saturday night, with Petar Sucic and Nikola Vlasic scoring the goals. Sucic opened the scoring with a long-range strike and was named man of the match, while Vlasic headed in from a Modric corner seven minutes before the 90th, according to Yahoo Sports.
