Tencent Tests TenPayGo App to Help Overseas Visitors Use Mobile Payments in China

Tencent is internally testing a “China living convenience assistant” app for overseas users, designed to provide one-stop digital services including mobile payments, according to 36Kr. The app is intended to let users pay directly at tens of millions of merchants nationwide that accept WeChat Pay. It remains in limited testing and is not yet fully available. The reporter noted the app has been listed on Apple’s App Store under the name TenPayGo.
