英国央行在6月22日发布政策声明，取消对受监管英镑稳定币拟议的家庭2万英镑、企业1000万英镑持有限额。据 NS3 报道，该框架同时规定，英国境内每一种系统性英镑稳定币的规模上限为400亿英镑，并将所需的无息英国央行存款占比下调至30%。报道还称，英镑稳定币约占全球稳定币市场的0.5%，该市场规模约为3150亿美元。
