On March 28th, zkSync tweeted that zkSync development company Matter Labs will cancel payment of fund transaction fees from zkSync cross chain to Ethereum main network starting from 7:59 on April 1st. Afterwards, users initiating transactions to withdraw funds from the zkSync cross chain bridge to the Ethereum main network will require additional transactions to claim funds on Ethereum. Officially, as zkSync continues to be decentralized, networks cannot rely on intermediaries to operate critical protocol mechanisms.
