Former Google YouTube app architecture technical lead Patrick Shyu said he sold all of his Bitcoin after suffering significant financial losses tied to excessive leverage. According to Foresight News, Shyu wrote on social media that Bitcoin fell from 120,000 in October last year to just above 60,000 in the summer this year, a decline he described as 50%.
Shyu said no amount of preparation can fully address the psychological impact of such market moves, particularly when using leverage. He added that his leverage ratio was too high and that a small mistake led to severe consequences.
