The Linux Foundation has launched Akrites with 19 founding organizations to coordinate fixes for critical vulnerabilities in open-source software.
According to NS3.AI, Endor Labs CEO Varun Badhwar said fewer than 5% of thousands of AI-surfaced open-source vulnerabilities have been patched.
Akrites plans to use a confidential Security Incident Response Team to validate findings and route confirmed issues to relevant open-source maintainers for remediation.
