Iran Reiterates GCC States’ Duty to Prevent Third-Party Attacks, Foreign Ministry Says

Iran’s Foreign Ministry said Iran had reiterated that member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council have clear obligations under international law and the principles of good-neighborliness.

According to Jin10, the ministry said these obligations include preventing any third party from using GCC members’ territory and facilities to plan, organize, support, or carry out illegal acts against the Islamic Republic of Iran, including military aggression.
