Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said the identity of the presumed white hat hacker involved in moving 129 million ADA is unknown, following reports that $18.5 million in ADA was taken from users with exposed Cardano wallets.
According to NS3.AI, SecondFi said the 129 million ADA transfer was an emergency rescue action after 16 million ADA was reported stolen earlier this week.
SecondFi said it took a final balance snapshot today and estimated that assets could be returned in two weeks' time, while noting that the outcome is not guaranteed.
