Australia’s securities regulator ASIC extended its no-action period for digital asset business licensing by three months to Sept. 30.
According to NS3.AI, the relief applies to businesses seeking an Australian financial services (AFS) license, as well as firms that may need market or clearing and settlement authorizations.
ASIC also expanded eligibility for the relief to include businesses operating through authorized representatives or intermediary arrangements with licensed firms.
