Tunisia ended their World Cup campaign with a third straight defeat, losing 3-1 to the Netherlands in Kansas, with Sheffield Wednesday defender Yan Valery playing the full 90 minutes, according to Yahoo Sports. Valery started Tunisia’s opening 5-1 loss to Sweden, a result that led to coach Sabri Lamouchi being sacked, then was left out for the 4-0 defeat to Japan under new head coach Herve Renard before returning to the lineup against the Netherlands. Tunisia finished bottom of Group F after conceding 12 goals and scoring twice.
