Ondo Finance, Virtuals Protocol, and Treasures opened more than 430 tokenized stocks to over 40,000 autonomous AI agents on Friday, enabling onchain equity trading. According to BeInCrypto, Treasures handles execution while Ondo powers the tokenized equities, with US stocks available on Ethereum and Solana subject to jurisdiction restrictions. Tokenized stocks’ distributed value is about $1.5 billion, up roughly 360% year over year, with Ondo holding more than 57% market share, per RWA.xyz. House Financial Services Committee Democrats asked the SEC how it oversees AI agents trading for retail investors, setting a July 31 deadline for SEC Chair Paul Atkins.
