Bluewater Labs will acquire Sui-based lending protocol Suilend and its ecosystem products SpringSui and STEAMM, and will take over their future development and operations, Suilend said.
According to ChainCatcher, Bluefin co-founder Zabi will become Suilend’s new CEO.
Suilend said it will continue operating as an independent platform after the acquisition, keeping its brand, product direction, and underlying infrastructure.
During the transition, the team said it will prioritize security and that users do not need to take any action. Suilend added that existing protocol functions, including deposits, borrowing, staking, and trading, will continue to operate as normal.
