Starlink said it will provide free satellite internet service in Venezuela through July 25 after the June 24, 2026 earthquakes. According to BeInCrypto, the SpaceX-operated network said the offer applies to new and existing customers in the hardest-hit zones and it is rapidly deploying Starlink terminals to restore connectivity.
Two quakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 struck 39 seconds apart in Yaracuy, with provisional tolls of nearly 188 dead and more than 1,500 injured. Caracas, La Guaira, Carabobo, and Miranda reported major damage, including power outages and disruptions to airports and communications infrastructure.
