U.S. stocks closed mixed on Thursday, with Apple shares falling more than 6%.
According to Jin10, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.14% in preliminary figures, while the S&P 500 edged slightly lower and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.46%.
Micron Technology jumped 15.7%, and Qualcomm gained 3.7%. Microsoft fell more than 3%.
Apple declined 6.1%, with its market capitalization nearing a drop below $4 trillion.
The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index fell 2.7%. Alibaba dropped 4.7%.
