Monad has integrated the privacy infrastructure Unlink, enabling users to hold, transfer, and use funds on-chain while hiding balances, counterparties, and transaction history. According to Foresight News, Unlink uses zero-knowledge proofs to support private transfers.
Under the system, users deposit ERC-20 tokens into an Unlink contract, and balances are stored as encrypted notes. Unlink supports deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and executing external contract operations.
The integration is designed to work with Monad’s existing DeFi ecosystem without requiring cross-chain activity.
