SpaceX plans to start building an 8-mile (13-kilometer) natural gas pipeline called “Starpipe” next month to supply its launch facility in Texas and support a higher launch cadence for its next-generation Starship rocket, according to 36Kr. A filing submitted last month to the Texas Railroad Commission by Lone Star Mineral Development, attached by SpaceX, said the pipeline will terminate at SpaceX’s Starbase site in Texas and is expected to enter service on January 26, 2027.
