Aave’s CEO said the project will not sell AAVE tokens at a 70% discount, responding to recent community discussion.
According to Odaily, the CEO said the “Aave Will Win (AWW)” proposal sets that 100% of revenue from the Aave protocol and the GHO stablecoin belongs to AAVE tokenholders, and the same principle applies to revenue from products including Aave App, Aave Pro, and Swaps.
The CEO added that Aave Labs, as a service provider to the Aave DAO, is responsible only for protocol development and expansion and does not receive protocol or product revenue.
The CEO said Aave’s current annualized revenue has reached $134 million and that all of it belongs to the Aave DAO. The CEO also said the Aave brand and related software intellectual property belong to AAVE.
In addition, the CEO said the team is designing Aavenomics 3.0 and plans to introduce a new automated, non-discretionary buyback mechanism, with more details to be announced later. The CEO said Aave’s goal includes serving not only the crypto market but also the broader financial asset market, including real-world assets.
