The U.S. Senate is seeking to move the CLARITY Act forward in July, as multiple priority bills compete for limited floor time.
According to NS3.AI, Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis said lawmakers expect to receive a new version of the bill’s text around July 4th for final review.
The report added that if the relevant bills are not advanced before the August recess, attention in Washington could shift toward the November election.
