IBM unveiled sub-1-nanometer chip technology that it said can fit nearly 100 billion transistors on a fingernail-sized chip.
According to NS3.AI, IBM shares are down 12% YTD, and the company estimates production of the chips in as early as five years.
IBM did not provide additional details on commercialization beyond its estimate for potential production timing.
