According to the announcement from Binance, Binance Futures will close all positions and conduct an automatic settlement on the USDⓈ-Margined IPUSDT and IPUSDC Perpetual Contracts at 2026-06-28 09:00 (UTC) to support the Story (IP) rebranding plan to Data Network. After the settlement is completed, the two perpetual contracts will be removed. Binance said users are advised to close any open positions before the settlement time to avoid being automatically settled.
Trading Restrictions and Next Steps: Binance said users will not be able to open new non-reduce orders for the USDⓈ-Margined IPUSDT and IPUSDC Perpetual Contracts starting from 2026-06-28 08:30 (UTC). The exchange added that a separate announcement will be made when the new contract is listed. The notice was issued under Binance Exchange Rule 17.D.
