China’s A-share market closed higher on June 25, with the STAR 50 Index rising 3.87%.
According to Jin10, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.23%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.82%, and the ChiNext Index advanced 2.84%.
Turnover across the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges exceeded 3.59 trillion yuan, up 310 billion yuan from the same point the previous trading day.
In sector moves, the memory-chip theme surged. Beijing Junzheng and China Micro Semiconductor hit the 20% daily limit, while Biwin Storage rose more than 15%.
The lab-grown diamond segment strengthened late in the session, with Worldia and Huifeng Diamond up more than 10%.
The CPO segment traded higher in choppy action. Eoptolink jumped to a record high, while Hoshine and Aerospace Electric Appliance were among more than 10 stocks that hit their daily limit.
On the downside, childcare services, lithium extraction from salt lakes, and PEEK materials led declines.
More than 1,200 stocks advanced across the broader market.
