Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) said it has added Aurum/Aurum Foundation to its list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms. According to Odaily, the SFC said the entity claimed it was registered in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance and offered trading services on related websites.
The SFC said the websites promoted trading in virtual assets, futures contracts, and derivatives. The regulator said the entity is not licensed by the SFC and is suspected of conducting unlicensed activities.
