At least 164 people have died and more than 1,000 have been injured after back-to-back earthquakes struck Venezuela on Wednesday, toppling buildings and severely damaging the country’s main international airport, according to Bloomberg.
Government officials warned the death toll will rise as rescue efforts expand.
