A Polish social engineering attacker identified as Wojtek Kulisz, known online as “Merry,” was recently suspected of being raided and investigated by Polish law enforcement, with three other people also taken in, according to on-chain investigator ZachXBT.
According to ChainCatcher, ZachXBT said an official statement did not disclose names or photos, but items shown on Kulisz’s public Instagram account “wojtekk,” including designer clothing and jewelry, closely matched property seized during the police action.
ZachXBT said the case was led by Poland’s Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime, with assistance from the FBI and Homeland Security Investigations.
