Hong Kong Cyberport has launched the Web3 Proof-of-Concept Testing Funding Scheme (Web3 PoC Scheme), which aims to promote the development of the Web3.0 industry and the application of related technologies in various fields. The scheme provides development-stage funding for innovative Web3.0 technology projects to encourage Web3.0 technology companies to cooperate with mature industries to co-create and jointly develop high-value and innovative Web3.0 solutions, so as to accelerate the development of the Web3.0 technology community and promote the commercial adoption of Web3.0 in Hong Kong. It is reported that the scheme has received 122 project applications and approved 45 projects, each of which can receive up to 150,000 yuan in funding, covering areas such as tokenized asset management and carbon credit certification.
