经济学家鲁比尼（Nouriel Roubini）称，绝大多数加密项目“毫无支撑”、近20年区块链发展仅产生一个真正用例——稳定币。 据 BeInCrypto 报道，他在播客中表示，历史上约2万起ICO中80%一开始就是骗局；其余项目中约70%价值归零，仍存活者（含多数前十大加密货币）较历史高点回撤50%至60%。他认为稳定币可作为支付通道，但本质是法币的数字封装，难以作为价值储藏，并将代币化现实世界资产视为下一步。
