Japan’s Nikkei 225 index closed up 3,191.37 points, or 4.61%, at 72,366.34 on Thursday, June 25, marking a record closing high.
According to Odaily, South Korea’s KOSPI index ended the session up 459.76 points, or 5.43%, at 8,930.78.
In South Korea, SK Hynix rose 13%, while Samsung Electronics gained more than 5%.
