MemeCore’s M token plunged about 80% in hours, falling from nearly $3 to about $0.50 and erasing close to $3 billion in market value. The move had no clear trigger, according to CoinDesk, with no exploit or announcement cited to explain the drop. Onchain investigator ZachXBT warned in April that M’s price had been propped up by insiders.
