SBI VC Trade has listed Ripple USD (RLUSD) in Japan, setting a per-transaction limit of roughly $6,200.
According to NS3.AI, RLUSD is Japan’s first Type 4 electronic payment instrument under the country’s revised Payment Services Act.
SBI VC Trade said it currently supports deposits and withdrawals for RLUSD only on Ethereum. The report added that other blockchains could be approved in the future, though regulators have not provided a timeline.
