Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on June 24 that only countries in the Middle East should determine the region’s political and security order. According to Jin10, Ghalibaf made the remarks while attending a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
He called on countries in the region to strengthen cooperation and reject external interference.
