Crypto payments firm Alchemy Pay said it has obtained a Money Transmitter License in the U.S. state of Illinois, expanding its regulatory approvals in the country.
According to ChainCatcher, the Illinois approval brings Alchemy Pay’s total number of U.S. state-level money transmission licenses to 18.
The company said the license supports its compliant operations in the U.S. and may provide regulatory backing for the development of its stablecoin payments public blockchain, Alchemy Chain.
